Arlene had decorated my close friend's condo and I was very pleased with the results. I contacted Arlene to ask her if she would help me redesign the large living room in my condo. I'd inherited some furniture from my parents and I had a few pieces of my own. I told her I wanted to use everything, I didn't want to get rid of anything, I couldn't afford to buy any furniture right now and I would like the room to be arranged into two areas: an area for entertaining and another area for computer work and paying bills. (I have two desks.) I asked that neither desk face the wall.
